Eyebrow Microblading, more commonly known as eyebrow tattoos, are a semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create the illusion of fuller brows. A super fine pen deposits ink into the skin creating the look of hairstrokes. This method is semi-permanent. Microblading gives a very natural look and better simulates hair. It can last from 12 months to three years. Brow Microshading creates a soft, powdered effect that resembles eyebrow powder. Unlike microblading, microshading fills in thin brows with small dots rather than natural hair strokes, which is safer for sensitive or oily skin. Shading can be done every year or as needed. Most people elect to do a combination of both microblading and shading.
